I’m Jessica — the founder of Social Savvy and your go-to gal for all things social media! I’ve always been the one obsessed with content, so turning that passion into a boutique agency felt like the most natural next step. These days, you’ll find me and my team helping business owners finally hand off their social media and get back to doing what they actually love (because let’s be real, you didn’t become a CEO just to stress over Instagram capt
What made you fall in love with social media management?
“I love the power that it can give small businesses! You can reach so many people online to sell, grow your business, and grow your impact just by being social on these platforms. I started my social media journey years and years ago (I won't say when to age myself, ha!), but I started with indie bands and musicians. I learned about growth hacking on social media and community building. Two very prominent things in social media in 2025!”
What has been the most rewarding thing about owning your own social media management agency?
“Working with some pretty incredible brands over the years! I used to work at an agency that focused on local businesses only, but by starting Social Savvy, I have been able to meet business owners from around the world. From many states here in the United States, to Greek islands, even all the way to Australia!”
What has been the most challenging thing about owning your own social media management agency, and how did you overcome it?
“Wearing all of the hats can be very overwhelming! It is hard to have to deal with a lot of clients, roles, tasks, and responsibilities. But for me, the pros have always outweighed the cons when it came to deciding to start my own social media management business.”
What advice would you scream from the rooftops when someone is thinking of starting their own social media management business?
“Just DO IT! Seriously. Don't care what your past employers will say. Your family. Your friends. Entrepreneurship isn't for everyone, but if you are feeling called to do it then do it. Jump from the plane, and I know it's scary, but you will be able to "pull the parachute" on your way down.”
