Tempify

We love this for a creative Reel or TikTok using their templates. If you are ever low on creative inspo, this is the perfect way to tap into what they have already created for you.

Pros:

  • Simple and fast for quick content edits

  • Great for template-based editing

  • Easy to learn and use

Cons:

  • Limited advanced editing features

  • Fewer customization options

  • Not as personal/on-brand to use templates

Edits

Instagram launched this last year to edit Reels. It's great for quick video edits and adding subtitles.

Pros:

  • Good for batch editing and quick tweaks

  • Add trending audios in

  • Love the inspiration tab, where you can check out other reels

Cons:

  • Limited video effects

  • It's a slow editor for me!

  • Limited font options

Capcut

Capcut is TikTok's editing app. It's great for tapping into memes, trends, and different visual effects.

Pros:

  • Free and versatile, especially for mobile editing

  • Lots of effects, filters, and music options

  • Leaning into AI editing options

Cons:

  • Some features are mobile-only

Canva

Of course, you likely use Canva for graphics, but it's a video editor, too.

Pros:

  • All‑in‑one content creation tool for graphics, video, and scheduling

  • Template options

Cons:

  • Limited advanced video editing compared to dedicated tools

  • Can feel overwhelming with so many options
