Hashtag Managed Wrapped: A Review of our 2025 Podcast Insights

2025 has been a whirlwind!

From early-morning recording sessions to late-night edits, we have published an episode every week of Hashtag Managed, and we couldn't thank you enough for following along through it all.

Of course you've seen them all over your Instagram feed already, but Spotify & Apple Wrapped of 2025 released yesterday, and we can't wait to share ours with you.

If you are looking to start a podcast of your own, want to become a sponsor of our podcast, or even just want to snoop B.T.S. with us, we are sharing all the deets of our Spotify Wrapped in this blog.

How To Use Your Podcast's Spotify Wrapped

First and foremost, we want to talk about how we can use this data. If you are a fellow podcaster, your data is your most important tool behind your microphone. It's where you can gain inspiration and real insights from your followers, which you can lean into to better your podcast.

Our 2025 Podcast Data

Listeners, Followers & Engagement

This year, our listener and follower counts saw a real boost. In fact, our audience grew by 553% and we saw an 18% follower growth.

Top Episode & What It Means

Here our top episodes of 2025, and what we are taking from it.

114. Healthy Habits for Social Media Managers

This was one of our first episodes in the new year, where we talk about how to set new habits as a social media manager in the new year, including managing your clients, personal boundaries, and beyond.

Why did this work? Likely because self-help episodes and the new year with resolutions and goal setting on the brain is the perfect combo. It's all about knowing the right topics at the right time, and pairing them with important keywords in the title and description.

Video Content

This year, we shifted from audio-only to publishing the video with the podcast. This way, our viewers can see us and connect more inside the app. And, it worked!

Our show was in the top 20% of videos on Spotify.

  • We received more shares than 95% of other shows.

Our Takeaways

Being consistent

Posting regularly helped me stay relevant and build momentum.

Being Patient

Only 15% of our audience listened in the first 24 hours, meaning we need to give our episodes some time to really see the results. Time-sensitive episodes usually did do as well because our audience is listening a bit later.

Listening to feedback & stats

Comments and messages helped me refine what topics to cover next. We used our previous stats to help us with keywords and titles, and really drove us to see that increase in audience.

Jumping out of our comfort zones

Trying new formats, new topics, even crazier ideas. We tried a series, diverse guests and leaned into more creative ideas to shake up our podcast content and step out of our comfort zone.

What’s Next — Our 2026 Goals

Looking ahead, we have big plans for the podcast. Here are a few goals we are working on in 2026:

  • More episodes, more variety, deeper topics.

  • Start our Patreon

  • Add new sponsorships

  • Engage more with listeners — we want to make the podcast more interactive.

  • More fun guests

  • Be guest on more podcasts

  • Keep growing the Hashtag Managed community

We can't wait to see what's next. Anyone out there who tuned into even just one episode — thank you! We love you, we appreciate your support, and we are excited to grow more with you.
