Booked Out Social Media Management Business Series Part One: Creating Your Magnetic Brand

Welcome to the booked-out social media management business series! Jess here, founder of a six-figure agency and this community, podcast, and coaching for social media managers.

We are kicking off this series with the complete guide to creating your magnetic brand.

You’ve got the skills.

You’ve got the passion.

And you’ve got that thing — your spark, your story, your vibe — that sets you apart from every other SMM (even me)

That’s the power of a magnetic brand! It draws the right people in, kicks out the wrong ones, and creates a business that feels like you.

So let’s get clear on what your magnetic brand really looks like.

To craft your magnetic brand, ask yourself:

  • What do you do?

Are you all-in on Instagram strategy? Obsessed with building communities on TikTok? A storyteller through Reels? Own it!

  • Who do you help?

Be specific. Do you help beauty business owners? Fitness coaches? Think beyond “female entrepreneurs” and get clear on your people. Keep in mind that just because you are niching down doesn't mean that you're closing the door on all other potential clients.

  • How do you help them?

This is where your unique skill set shines. Maybe you're the all-in-one package with content creation, copywriting, and strategy, or maybe you're focusing on community management

  • What results have you achieved?

Have you helped a client grow 10k followers organically? Increased engagement by 300%? Booked them out with one killer launch? Your experience is such a big part of who you are.

  • What type of brand do you want to embody?

Are you creative? The analytics-focused strategist? The cheerleader of social media communities? Define who you want to be.

Your magnetic brand is:

  1. The foundation of everything you’ll do in business.

  2. The reason people will remember you.

  3. The reason they’ll choose you over someone else.

  4. The filter through which you’ll make business decisions, from the clients you take on to the content you post.

When your brand reflects your true strengths, values, and voice, you will attract clients who are aligned, excited, and ready to pay you what you’re worth.

So grab your notebook or open up a fresh Google Doc and answer those five questions. Seriously, this is step one to becoming booked out!

Stay tuned because this is a five-part blog BootCamp.
