Booked Out Social Media Management Business Series Part Five: Attracting Dream Clients
The fifth and final part of this five-blog series.
In the previous blogs, we learned:
And now, your business foundation is finally created after these four previous steps, and it's time to start attracting those dream clients. In this final blog, we are covering...niches, because the riches really are in the niches!
To start, let's dream up your dream clients.
What dream clients are we going to attract for your business?
What do they do for work?
Where do they live?
Where do they spend their time online?
What are they currently struggling with?
Once you have a good idea of your dream client, you can piece this together with your service offerings covered in previous blogs. This will showcase who you are, what you do, and who you do it for. This is called crafting an "I help" statement. Here's the formula:
I help [insert WHO you help here] + by [HOW you help them] + so they can [insert DESIRE your audience has here].
Now, how can we attract those dream clients with our messaging?
Start off by identifying your ideal client's pain points
what are they struggling with?
What do they deal with?
What do they need help with?
You can conduct market research by using polls or surveys as a great way to find out.
Identify the solution to their pain points with your signature service.
When your service offers the solution to your ideal client or customer's pain point/problem/struggle = marketing (and selling!) becomes much easier... It's serving!
Write specifically to these pain points with their messaging.
If you don't know what their messaging is... have conversations with them! Jump into Instagram DM's and chat with them. My favorite practice here is to take screenshots of what they say when describing what they are struggling with + need help with, and you can even use these screenshots right in your case studies inside your portfolio. See how this is all piecing together?
If you are stuck in any part of this process or just need a cheerleader to help you get through starting your business, let us introduce you to your business's new favorite tax write-off... the mentorship for social media managers!
